About Us

Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) registered Labrador breeders, based in Canberra.
We are registered breeders with Dogs ACT (9100005573) We can be found on Dogs ACT breeding directory and you can contact them to verify our membership is current (https://dogsact.org.au/).
All Grey Manor Labradors are Dogs ACT registered (ANKC) with limited registration papers. This means they are family pets and cannot be shown or breed. Please contact us if you would like full registration.
Registered since 2019, we are fairly new to the breeding world but have a fantastic mentor in Kelly at Kobelco Labradors. Our breeding story started when we became a guardian owner for our beautiful chocolate girl Nutella aka Ella. When Ella had her first litter of puppies on behalf of Kobelco in 2018, she did an amazing job, she was a natural and apparently so was Sharon.
We kept one of Ella’s pups, Luna (you will hear and see these two beauties a lot) and Kelly encouraged us to register here in the ACT and coached us through our first independent litter. Kelly remains a steadfast friend and oracle of knowledge. We also use her stud dogs in NSW; in 2020 we bought our first Grey Manor Labrador stud dog from Kobelco Labradors.
Our aim is to remain a small bespoke family based breeder. We breed for the love of the Labrador and are passionate about our fur family. We only ever breed with dogs that show good temperament and health and who are well rounded quality labradors. All our dogs are DNA tested, hip and elbow scored and vet checked before breeding.

All our puppies are raised in our family home and garden, surrounded by our family and friends. From the moment they enter this world, they are loved and cherished. They receive a lot of attention and interaction from humans of all ages; we provide toys and stimulation even before they open their eyes. We do initial work towards desensitising to loud noises including the demon also known as the vacuum! Pups are also toilet trained to synthetic grass for easy transition to crate and potty training (some catch on to this better than others).
Puppies are wormed from two weeks old, vaccinated and microchipped at 7 weeks. They are also vet checked before they leave for their furever homes. We provide lifetime backup service, we are always here to answer your questions.
We only want the best possible homes for our puppies which is why we ask for the waitlist questionnaire to be completed. We follow this up with a call and take everything into consideration before deciding who will receive an offer for a puppy. Puppies are temperament tested at 6 weeks and marched to their furever families after considering energy levels and family environment.
